Really? Hmm, I guess the couple of people bragging about their hammers in this thread are either scamming us, or ANet just fixed it. Or you're scamming us .

I remember seeing some posts stating that the double-wrapping trick doesn't work for this staff.

Anyway...thank you anet...GW is uninstalling at this very moment. I am not going to recover 200k...

Although I could sell the 20/20 Rockmolders....hhhmmmmm...nah that wouldnt be fair...what if the buyer entered a $100,000 GW tourney vs a player with a 20/10?
Go ahead and uninstall then. You knew it was bugged. You knew it would be nerfed, but you went and spent your 200k anyway. No ones fault but your own so dont go blaming ANet for your mistakes.

Asking for compensation for abusing an exploit is like asking for a hitman to pay you back because he was killed in the attempt.

You tried to do something you shouldn't have been able to and got caught. You invested in exploiting. They won't pay you back because the exploit was fixed. Get over it.

"Fixed a battle axe that was incorrectly allowing two axe grips to be attached."

Haha, I wonder which battle axe that is? *think think*

I don't think compensation, but at the very least, one of the mods should have remained and been salvageable. The people who got screwed were the buyers, not the sellers. The sellers can laugh all the way to the bank, the buyers get to look at a useless item in their inventory. Who's to say that one group of people is guilty and not the other? One group sought to exploit the game mechanics; one group sought to exploit other people. One group has nothing to show for it, one group is rich. Fair? Just like the Denravi weapons, those who have them can either use them at an advantage over others, or sell them for an exorbitant price. Or IWAY working with dead pets. I find it odd that some issues which clearly affect "game balance" don't seem to have much priority, while others do.

Probably a fix for Tombs. Everytime they update they break something in Tombs.

Just before the update whenever a map timer appeared your party menu disappeared. About to check and see if that's fixed.

Please Read:

http://www.guildwars.com/legal/user-agreement.html

Then Read: (Note rule 18)

http://www.guildwars.com/legal/user-agreement.html

Ok for those of you that dont wish to read it is illegal as in bad no cookie to use exploits, to sell exploits, heck to even mention exploits except directly to GuildWars.com. Wow.. so what does this mean? It means that they dont have to pay you back, they should ban you if you participated, and that you seem to show a lack of caring about the rules. Yea some people are just so mature. Anyway heres the info use it in anyway you would like.

Suckers, that is what you get for trying to cheat. And don't give me any of that, "I didn't know it was cheating" or "well the game allowed it". You knew it was a cheat and you used it. The uber-nerf to white was a great idea! Yeah A-net!

ALl you people bitching about the axe "nerf". You got what was coming. You wanted to exploit a BUG, YES A DAMN BUG and you got the whiplash. The guys who bought the axe first were just as guilty, but had you decided to play fair and not buy the axe, you might not be out 100k+ right now.

Im not going anywhere I like this game. I also enjoy these forums. The mods do a good job considering how large this place is, really keep up the good work i've modded forums before and its not easy. Thankyou for putting your time and energy into giving this place life, for those out there that contribute those great Faqs, a double thankyou im getting older and well it helps to have things spelled out sometimes. I realy like the Pet Faqs. Its fun to sometimes run with my cat and it helps me to know how.

I think this shouldnt be called a nerf at all its a fix, this was a bug you all knew it was going to be fixed and people that weren't blinded by greed knew that if you paid for this axe you would lose at least some money. Lets face it after the fix came your best chance was to be able to salvage the axe for one remaining mod.

I think the worst part that hasnt even been mentioned was the teams(and guild teams too) that went into HoH last weekend with that axe. Dispicable, one team we played was all ele's with that axe and obsidian flesh. Thank god we beat them, i'd post the guild name but we only really realized it at the end of the match and forgot the name.

I cant believe some of you are screaming and whining about compensation. Just be glad your asses weren't banned for exploiting a bug.

It was overpowered and needed to be deleted. Now stop crying and go kiss ANET'S butt instead for not banning you.

Anyone who bought the axe's knew they were exploiting the game and deserved to lose all the money they spent on them. I agree with their patch methods 100%.
